Abkari vibhag (excise department) jobs in CG
Many searches ask about the aabkari vibhag CG or the Chhattisgarh excise department. This department controls liquor licences and excise duty, and it also recruits field staff. Excise constable (abkari aarakshak) exams have been conducted by CG Vyapam, with physical standards and a written test as per the notice. Higher excise posts can come through other routes, so read each advertisement to see which body is running it.

Eligibility basics for CG sarkari job forms
- Qualification: 10th or 12th for many Vyapam and police posts, graduation for CGPSC State Service, and a trade, diploma or degree for technical jobs. Some police drives relax the qualification for specified tribal areas, as the notice explains.

CG Vyapam exams
Usually one written test of objective questions. A model answer is published, objections are taken for a short time, and the result follows with marks and rank. Document verification is done by the hiring department, not by Vyapam.
CGPSC State Service
Three stages: prelims (screening), mains (written, descriptive) and interview. For other CGPSC posts, expect one objective paper, sometimes followed by an interview round.
Chhattisgarh police constable
The physical round tends to come first: a physical measurement test and a physical efficiency test. Those who qualify sit the main written exam, followed by document checks and a medical. More general advice is on our police jobs page.
Apply step by step
- Find the advertisement on the official website and save the PDF on your phone.
- Check post code, qualification, age limit and whether the form is online or offline.
- Create a profile with a mobile number you will keep for years.
- Fill personal details carefully; Chhattisgarh caste certificates should be in your own name.
- Choose exam centre preferences if the form allows.
- Submit, pay if a fee applies, and print the confirmation page.
- Note your application number in a diary. Admit cards and results need it.

A Chhattisgarh sarkari result is always released first by whichever board or commission conducted the exam, and CG sarkari results never come from a private site first. CG Vyapam puts results and model answers on its home page by exam code.
