A free job alert routine is simply a habit: you check a few trusted places on fixed days and note every form that fits you. You do not need to pay any person or service to learn about a government vacancy, because every recruiting body publishes its notices openly.
This page shows which official sources to follow, how to build a personal checklist by qualification and state, how the alert lists on this site work, and how to tell a real notice from a fake one. The newest online forms posted here are listed further down the page.

What a good free job alert actually does
An alert has one job: tell you early that a form has opened, so you have time to read the notice, collect documents and apply before the rush on the last days. It does not make you eligible, it does not reserve a seat, and it cannot speed up selection. Anyone who sells a job alert as a shortcut to selection is selling something that does not exist.
A useful govt job alert gives you four things: the name of the recruiting body, the post, the qualification asked, and a link to the notice PDF on the board's site. Dates matter too, but you should always read them in the notice PDF, because boards sometimes extend or change them. Everything else you can find yourself in a few minutes.
Official sources that cost nothing
These sources publish notices first. Every sarkari job alert you see anywhere, including here, starts from one of them.
| Source | What you get |
|---|---|
| Employment News | A weekly paper from the Government of India with central and many state vacancies; the Hindi edition is called Rozgar Samachar. An e-version is available on its website. |
| National Career Service | A free government job portal where you can register your profile and browse vacancies, including private ones. |
| Staff Selection Commission | Notices for central Group B and C posts; after one time registration you also get messages on your registered contact details. |
| UPSC | Exam notices and recruitment advertisements for senior central posts. |
| Your state commission and staff selection board | State posts for your domicile. Links are on each state page of this site. |
Most commission websites have a section called What's New, Latest News or Notice Board. Bookmark that section, not just the home page. Many boards also send SMS and email updates to candidates who have registered with them, which makes a free government job alert arrive on your phone directly from the source.
Build your own alert checklist by qualification and state
The fastest job alert is the one you design for yourself. Spend one evening on this and it will save you months.
- Write your highest qualification, your trade or subject, your category and your date of birth on the first page of a notebook.
- List the bodies that hire people like you: for example SSC and railway boards for a 12th pass candidate, plus your state staff selection board and police board.
- Bookmark the notice section of each of those websites in your phone browser, in one folder.
- Open the matching pages on this site: your state page and your qualification page such as 10th pass, 12th pass or ITI.
- Set a fixed time every day, for example after breakfast, to check the bookmarks and the sarkari result board.
- When a form fits, write the post, advertisement number and last date in the notebook, and apply within the first week.
Example: Ravi from Gorakhpur has 12th pass with science and an ITI in electrician trade. His list: SSC, railway boards, UPSSSC, UP Police board, and PSU apprentice notices. His bookmarks on this site: UP jobs, ITI jobs and railway jobs. Five minutes a day covers all of it.
How the free job alert lists on this site work
Every notice we post is a short page with a label in its title, such as Online Form, Result, Admit Card, Syllabus or Answer Key. Each hub page on this site shows a live list of notices that match its topic, newest first, so the list updates by itself. The home page works as an all job alert board, while state, sector and qualification pages show narrower lists. You never need to sign up or pay to see them.

For later stages, the admit card and answer key pages carry their own lists. Remember that a fast job alert is only useful if you then read the full notice yourself.
Alerts for special fields: nursing, teaching, other states
Some careers have their own channels. A nursing job alert usually means watching nursing officer recruitment in AIIMS and other central hospitals, state health department and medical college notices, railway paramedical posts and ESIC hospitals. Teachers should follow the teacher eligibility test notices and state teacher recruitment; our CTET and teacher jobs page explains that route.
If your state does not have its own page here, the same method works. For a job alert in HP (Himachal Pradesh), Assam, Karnataka or any other state, find that state's public service commission and subordinate staff selection board, bookmark their notice sections and add them to your daily check. India job alert lists from central bodies such as SSC, railway boards and banks apply to every state.
Fake alerts and paid guarantee scams
Scammers know that job seekers are anxious, and they build fake alerts to look urgent. Learn these signs:
- A message says you are already selected, but you never wrote an exam.
- A "job alert membership" asks for a fee and promises a confirmed post or interview.
- You are asked for a security deposit, training fee or uniform charge before joining.
- The notice has no advertisement number, or the number cannot be found on the body's website.
- The link opens a site that looks like a commission site but its address is not a .gov.in or .nic.in one.
- The contact is only a mobile number or a free email address, not an office address.
- The language has spelling mistakes, odd logos or pressure such as "apply in two hours".
When in doubt, open the official website yourself by typing the address, and look for the same notice there. If it is not there, it is not real. If you have lost money, call 1930 quickly; reporting early gives the best chance of the payment being blocked.
A ten minute weekly review
Daily checks catch new forms. A weekly review makes sure nothing slips. Once a week, open your notebook and do three things. First, cross out forms whose last date has passed and mark which ones you submitted. Second, for every submitted form, check if the admit card or exam city slip is out. Third, glance through the latest Employment News issue for any post your bookmarks may have missed, such as a one-off vacancy in a ministry or a research institute.
Keep printouts of every submitted form in one file with the fee receipt. If your result or admit card has a problem later, these papers are your proof. For the bigger picture of which body hires for what, read the sarkari naukri guide, and for exam stages see the exam guide.

Questions people ask
Is there any truly free job alert for government jobs?
Yes. Employment News, the National Career Service portal and every commission's own website are free. This site is also free to read. You should never pay anyone just to learn that a vacancy exists.
How do I get a sarkari alert on my phone?
Register with the bodies you plan to apply to, such as SSC through its one time registration, and keep your mobile number and email active. Bookmark their notice sections and this site's state and qualification pages, then check them at a fixed time each day.
What is the best job alert for 10th and 12th pass candidates?
Follow SSC, the railway boards, India Post GDS notices and your state staff selection and police boards. On this site, the 10th pass and 12th pass pages show matching notices in one list.
Someone sent me a free govt job alert with a payment link. Is it real?
Treat it as fake until the official website shows the very same notice. Real application fees are paid only inside the official application portal, never through a personal link, wallet number or QR code sent on chat.
Can I get state wise job alerts here?
Yes. Each state page on this site, such as Bihar, UP, MP or Rajasthan, shows the latest notices that mention that state and explains the main state recruiting bodies.
How do I know an alert is about an online form and not a result?
Look at the label in the notice title. Online Form means applications are open, Admit Card means the exam is near, and Result or Answer Key means the exam is over. Then open the official notice for the details.
